The Club Calendar
The Ocean Gold Sailing Club is growing. The Mumbai–Goa Yacht Race remains our flagship — the anchor event we build the year around. From 2028, we add a year-round series of coastal and inshore regattas to give members a true sailing calendar.
Anchor Event
Our anchor event and the soul of the club. A blue-water passage race down the Konkan coast, contested under IRC handicap by India's finest crews and visiting international yachts.
The Prize
The Super Cup is the supreme trophy of the Ocean Gold Yacht Race — a magnificent cup awarded to the crew that masters the Mumbai–Goa passage.
Winning names are engraved on its pedestal, joining a lineage of sailors who have left their mark on India's blue-water history.
“To lift the Super Cup is to join the legacy of Indian offshore sailing.”

Club Series · From 2028
Starting 2028, the club introduces a series of smaller coastal and inshore regattas — pathways for new crews, training waters for offshore campaigns, and a steady rhythm of racing through the Indian sailing year.
A coastal series sailed in Mumbai's home waters — designed as a stepping stone for crews building toward the yacht race.
Short, sharp inshore racing under post-monsoon skies. Open to club members, with a social rhythm after each race.
A southern fixture in our calendar — coastal racing out of Goa, anchoring the club's presence on the Konkan's golden end.
The opening fixture of each calendar year — a multi-class weekend regatta and the social start of the club's racing season.
Dates, courses and notices of race for the 2028 club series will be published through 2027.
